Caesar V. Almase is a founding partner of The Almase Law Group. He has dedicated his practice to three areas of law: criminal defense, family law, and personal injury.
Caesar Almase obtained his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, and in 2002, was licensed to practice law in Nevada. In that same year, he became the Law Clerk to the Honorable Valorie Vega, District Court Judge for the Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada. Following that clerkship, Caesar was an associate at the civil litigation firm of Bremer, Whyte, Brown, and O'Meara, where he was assigned to defend Personal Injury, Construction Defect, and general litigation cases.
After his time as a civil litigator, he went on to become a Deputy Public Defender for Clark County, Nevada. In nearly five years as Deputy Public Defender, Caesar handled thousands of criminal cases, ranging from simple misdemeanors to serious category A felonies. He gained invaluable criminal law experience in nearly all types of criminal cases including: misdemeanor and felony DUI, misdemeanor and felony Battery Domestic Violence, all types of Battery, Drug Possession, Forgery, white-collar Fraud, and Robbery.
In 2008, Caesar, with Heidi, started the Almase Law Group. While Criminal Defense is still Caesar's main passion in the law, he now handles Family Law matters, such as divorce, custody, and restraining orders; Personal Injury Law for plaintiffs; and Juvenile Justice matters. Helping people in emotionally charged family oriented cases has been personally rewarding to Caesar, which has led him to represent individuals on a pro bono (free of charge) basis. Regarding Personal Injury Law, Caesar's experience as a former litigator who defended insurance companies helps him now when representing plaintiffs. By expanding his criminal practice to include Juvenile Justice cases, Caesar now has the opportunity to help young people straighten out missteps, and help prevent adult mistakes. It is this area of Caesar's practice, which is perhaps the most satisfying.
